REGINA'S DRAGONBOAT
CLUB

Come join one of Regina’s most accessible recreational dragonboat clubs! Open to all ages and skill levels, Prairie Dragons prides itself as being “Regina’s dragon boat club” and one of the most inclusive clubs on Wascana Lake! If you are looking for something to do this summer in Regina, you’ve come to the right spot!

OUR TEAM

With decades of experience behind our wake, Prairie Dragons is Regina’s dragon boat club that races not only locally, but travels to inter-provincial races as well. We are well-connected in the dragon boating community, and enjoy building our team from people of all strokes.

So, if you are new to the sport, old to the sport, don’t know what the sport is, we want YOU! You don’t have to be a fan of the water, and you don’t have to be fit to join. All we ask is for a fun-loving spirit, and a can-do attitude!

Our current season runs from May – Sept/Oct, but you can jump in to the boat to try it out for free, and you can jump in during the middle of the season as well!

ABOUT
DRAGONBOATING

With its roots in ancient antiquity, dragon boating is a modern water sport with teams all over the world. Teams of either 20 or 10 people race in fast-paced and exciting sprints ranging from 100 metres, to up to 2 kilometres!

The sport’s popularity has grown over the years as it is a low-impact, all-ages, and social sport. You are bound to make some friends and share some memories along the way! Dragon boating borrows its roots from rowing, which features a full-body work out. This makes dragon boating a great sport for both the mind and the body.
